ABOUT LOST-FANFIC :

What do we archive?

FanFiction :

Lost-fanfic archives all fiction based on the ABC show LOST. All categories, pairings, ratings and genre are accepted.

Multimedia :

• Any LOST related fanart is accepted.

• Any LOST based music videos are accepted

FANFICTION and MULTIMEDIA SUBMISSION :

• Fanfics and Fanart can be submitted for archive 3 ways: Join the Lost-Fanfic yahoo group. Post your fanfiction or fanart on the Lost-Fanfic Message Board. Or by submitting your fics or art by email.

• All fics must include the following: TITLE
  AUTHOR
  PAIRING
  RATING 
  SUMMARY
  WARNINGS (if there is any thing offensive and/or if spoilers are included)
  
  Please include in the subject of your message the Title of story, the pairing and the rating (this is especially important).

• All fics should be spellchecked, and if necessary proofread. You are welcome to use the board for finding a beta.

• All stories should have paragraphs and spacing in between them.

It's not easy to read something like this;

"Charlie," she said, nodding her head once in confirmation. "It's a good name. Did you choose it yourself?" "Of course not," he said absently

...or this;

"Charlie," she said, nodding her head once in confirmation. "It's a good name. Did you choose it yourself?"
"Of course not," he said absently

...this is soo much better;

"Charlie," she said, nodding her head once in confirmation. "It's a good name. Did you choose it yourself?"

"Of course not," he said absently,

• Plagiarism is not allowed. It's not writing when you use somebody else's words. You can always adapt your own work of course... But I never find them as good as an original candy fic.

• LOST-FANFIC reserves the right to refuse submissions for various reasons.

• If you get your fics beta'd or edited after I put them up, please don't forget to send me the new versions. I'd like to keep them as neat as possible.

• I will not reply to submissions unless there's something wrong.

• If you have submitted a fic and I haven't put it up in my next update, contact me. I am known to forget things all the time.
